Level and content
The North Sweater is beginner-friendly, perfect for those ready to level up their circular knitting. Pattern includes checklists for each size.

Construction
The North Sweater is knitted from the top down, using both flat and circular knitting techniques. You’ll start by knitting the back flat with 4 mm needles, working back and forth and making increases at the beginning and end of each row to shape the dropped shoulders. The back is worked down to the bottom of the armholes, then the stitches are placed on hold.
Stitches are picked up along the increase edges of the back yoke to knit the left shoulder and front, followed by the right shoulder and front, with increases that shape the neckline. The front stitches are then joined, casting on additional stitches for the neckline, and the front is knitted as one piece.
The front and back are then joined by casting on stitches at the underarms, and the lower body is worked in the round. The body is finished with a 1x1 ribbed hem using 3.5 mm needles and an Italian bind-off.
Stitches are picked up along the armholes to work the sleeves in the round using 4 mm needles, with regular decreases. They are finished with a 1x1 ribbed cuff and an Italian bind-off. The neckline is also worked in the round in 1x1 rib using 3.5 mm needles.

Techniques
Cast-on - knit & purl - increases - decreases - slip stitches - picking up stitches - Italian bind off
