Construction
The Hoya sweater is worked from bottom to top in flat knitting, and double strand knitting. The front, the back and the sleeves are worked separately, and joined by a seam at the end. You can start by one piece or the other according to your preferences. If you are a beginner, you might want to start with the back to get familiar with the yarn and stitch.

Techniques
Cast on - knit and purl - decreases - increases - cast off - seam

Shape and sizes
The Hoya sweater has a loose fit. Sizes S (M - L - XL) are suited for a 85/90 (90/95 - 95/100 - 100/110) cm [33.4/35.4 (35.4/37.4 - 37.4/39.3 - 39.3/43.3) inches] bust size, with a positive ease of approximately 32 cm (12.6”). Make sure to take your measurements in order to choose the size that fits you best, depending on your size and morphology, and the shaping you prefer.

You will need
• 150 g (150g - 175 g - 125 g)* of Silk Mohair - 25 g/195 m (213 yds) - worked in double strand
• A pair of 7 mm knitting needles
• A sewing needle, scissors, pins and a flat surface to block your knitting

Choice of yarn
The pattern is worked using two strands of Silk/Mohair 25 g = 195 m (213 yds). Here are some yarns that I have tested and which work well for this pattern:
- Drops Kid Silk from Drops Design
- Phil Mohair Soie from Phildar
- Soft Silk Mohair from Knitting for Olive

Sample
12,5 stitches x 16 rows = 10 x 10 cm with 7 mm, in double strand knitting.
