Comment monter des mailles
1. Commencez par faire un nœud coulant

2. Fixez le nœud coulant sur une des aiguilles
Glissez l’aiguille dans la boucle du nœud coulant (1) et tirez sur le fil de montage pour resserrer le nœud (2).
3. Montez les mailles
- Tenez l’aiguille dans votre main gauche, avec le fil de montage placé à gauche et le fil de la pelote placé à droite. Enroulez le fil de la pelote autour de votre index droit, avec la main en pistolet (3).
- Insérez l’aiguille sous le fil de la pelote, de droite à gauche, pour former une boucle autour de l’aiguille (4-5)
- Prenez le fil de montage dans votre main gauche (6) et enroulez-le autour de l’aiguille dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d’une montre, en passant au-dessus (7) puis en-dessous de l’aiguille (8)
- Passez la boucle de l’index droit au-dessus de la pointe de l’aiguille, de droite à gauche (9-10) et tirez sur le fil de la pelote (11-12).
- Continuez votre montage, en répétant les étapes 4 à 12 jusqu’à obtenir le nombre de mailles que vous désirez.
HOW TO CAST-ON STITCHES
1. Start by making a slip knot

2. Attach the slip knot to the needle
Slide a needle into the knot (1) and pull on the tail yarn to tighten the knot (2).
3. Cast-on the stitches
- Hold the needle in your left hand, with tail end of the yarn placed to the left and working yarn, leading to the yarn ball, placed to the right. Place the working yarn in your right hand, over your index, holding your hand like a pistol (3).
- nsert the needle under the working yarn, from right to left to form a loop on the needle (4-5).
- Grab the tail yarn with your left hand (6), and wrap it around the needle counterclockwise, passing over (7) then under the needle (8).
- ass the loop on your right index over the point of the needle from right to left (9-10) and pull the working yarn (11-12).
Keep casting-on stitches until you have the number of stitches you want on the needle.
